Yuvaa, a media company, approached us to create a data visualisation-driven physical installation for the Google News Summit 2024 at Delhi, India. Google News Initiative (India) liaised with Kantar to perform research about free users of online new, the preferences and motivations of paid news subscribers and the awareness and impact of misinformation in online news. Revisual Labs analysed the data and presented the key insights from the research in the form a 6 x 6 ft physical installation at the summit which included both static and participatory aspects.\ \ We were handed extensive raw data and reports from Kantar’s research on the consumption of news in India. This included both qualitative and quantitative data from the questions posed to the research survey participants. The insights from this survey informed our data visualisations.
